Willemsted, Curaçao ~ 17 Nov
We were supposed to go to Aruba, but the port was closed due to Hurricane Lenny
~ Flamingos
in the Seaquarium on Curaçao. ~
~ The Turtle and the Pelican ~ The turtle wanted to go to the other side of the pool. The turtle had to pass the pelican to get to the other side of the pool. Every time the turtle came near the pelican, the pelican bit at his head and neck and he retreated.
~ The sting ray glides by. ~
~ Starfish in the Seaquarium on Curaçao. ~
~ One Flamingo in the Seaquarium on Curaçao. ~ Watch this guy - he's starting something!
~ No Tresspassing!! ~ The flamingo on the left won't let the one on the right cross the rocks.
~ Two Against One ~ Now a third flamingo make his (her?) wishes known.
~ Second Thoughts ~ The flamingo on the right backs up.
~ Retreat ~ The flamingo on the right backed up, and eventually retreated.
